Shake someone’s hand from across the world. We firmly believe that what people need is a handshake more than a handout. We work with amazing volunteers and bi-vocational pastors and church leaders. The ministries through the local churches are not just there for people living in $1 or $2 a day poverty, but are run by people living in the exact same circumstances. Despite the lack of material resources they are not looking for a handout, but a handshake, someone willing to equip them to do the ministry and to help the work already happening reach the last mile.

Churches are bringing their own stones to help build churches and making their own bricks. They just need help with cement and the tin roof. People are taking their time to volunteer for ministries that need a few extra dollars to keep running or reach a few more people. Check out below the places where you can extend a hand that will be gladly taken up by someone on the other side of the world.

At their core our churches are families who all come together each week to share their time, service, love, struggles, and hopes with each other at a table that is open to everyone. Coming together like this is that much more difficult without a home.

You can help us with a bag of cement for $10 or get a group together and work towards building a whole church for $12,000.

Peace and Justice through Education, Empowerment, and Spiritual Formation.

Current projects that need that need support:

Economic Development:Sustainable development has to include alternative sources of income. Churches and community members will only be in control of their own development when they have the freedom to use their own resources and contribute to their own development. That's why we feel like economic development is so important.

We have started bee keeping groups, vocational training, and most recently a youth co-op that is learning to run a brick making machine.

Please consider supporting these important steps that people are taking to develop themselves and their communities.

Advance Special #3021923 - Church Construction and Development.

Wesley College:
If you are a ground floor type person this is your project. The Tanzania Annual Conference voted in July to start a college in Mwanza, Tanzania. We have a vision for Wesley College to be a place that gives birth to many servant leaders equipped to serve their communities, churches, and country.

The main need right now is a few more acres before we start construction as well as starting to prepare financially for beginning construction. This is a big project, but we know that it can be done with the joining of hands possible through the church.

You can donate here or send a check to the address at the bottom of the page.
